The Pura Stainless Lifetime Warranty

Pura Stainless water bottles are covered by a limited lifetime warranty granted to the original bottle purchaser or owner. Our warranty covers leakage, bottle deforming dents, manufacturing defects or other failures that occur during normal use. We do not cover failures due to the bottle being dropped off El Capitan, sucked into a chipper or run over by a semi nor do we cover worn, scratched or chipped paint. Our warranty is designed to ensure that if you use and care for your bottle in a reasonable manner it will be the last water bottle you ever purchase.

How do I clean my Pura Stainless bottle? The best way to clean your bottle is with warm water, dish washing liquid soap, and any standard bottle brush. Automatic dishwasher cleaning is not recommended as it could dull or wear down the color on the painted bottles over time.

Does stainless steel rust? Stainless does not "rust" per say. If you see red or orange discoloration it is probably due to some iron particles that have contaminated the surface of the stainless steel and are, themselves, oxidizing. Simply scrub away these particles and any discoloration with soap and a non-metal scrub pad. This will remove the foreign particles and allow the stainless steel to be clean and pure again.


Never use bleach or bleach cleaning products with your stainless steel water bottle, or anything made of stainless steel for that matter, as it can corrode the metal.
